The National Institute of Health
has developed this educational site in conjunction with the mapping of
the human genome. You'll find background information on the genome project,
current advancements, and what it all means to you. For a limited time

The
Arc's Human Genome Education Project
From The Arc of the United
States, a national organization on mental retardation with 140,000
members and more than 1,000 affiliated chapters, this page is part
of a project to develop educational materials and conduct training
relating to the ethical, legal, and social implications of genetic
knowledge and use.
